Girls Booster August 7, 2010 D. T. (Springboro, Ohio United States) I, being the Dad, like the booster. I think it looks cool and the kids love the pink. The mom on the other hand doesn't like it. She can't stand that the arm rests don't fold back. Apparently we should have bought two because the kids fight over who gets to sit in the pink chair. So now the thing sits in the basement and we use the boosters that have the folding arms and every one is happy. I didn't think the arm folding up was going to be a big deal but to a lot of moms it does.
Ok if your child is 40 lbs and 4 yrs old go with this style of seat July 25, 2010 SYN Wrath (USA) I have tried many seats and honestly this is one of my favs. Yes you need some tools to put together from the box I used scissors from the cashier when I bought them and my car key or house key. It took me 20 mins to do two of these in their parking lot. I was surprised at how well they are made for one. Two by how well they worked. They are easy to use, adjust and clean. Most of all they seem very safe. These are all priority's for me. I also recently broke the foam in the headrest the lady said you get 1 yr for this sort of thing so I was lucky. I will get two whole replacements in 8-10 days for free. I also have had same thing happen before with graco on my childs infant seat it was past the 1 yr mark but they did it for free anyways. I honestly love their customer care line always helpful once you get someone and they are from the USA. Now Adamson thats rare! Con's be careful when removing the head rest covers for washing the foam inside is not secured and can break. If it does just call graco and they will help you get a replacement. Wish the cup holders when they go inside would not allow the item inside it to fall into the seat! Such a pain. We lost a few good toys this way and will not see them again until the seat expires and I will dismantle it then and find the toy as it's not easy to open up the bottom booster. So don't put food or toys inside the holder close it and then move the seat as I did. GREAT BUY! I got two for under $80.00 with tax at target on sale. So shop around.
Not what I expected April 1, 2010 M. Rosser 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am shopping for a booster for my daughter and she really liked the bright pink. I took her into a local retailer to try out this model and I was really surprised at how flimsy it felt. There was hardly any padding at all in the seat part. My daughter, who was super excited to move into a booster, even said it wasn't cozy and she didn't want it. I think we'll keep looking. I'm so glad we tried it out before we bought it!
Big Girl Car Seat!!! February 8, 2010 Amandy Bunch (APO, AP, US) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My daughter is going to be 5 next month and out grew her 3 in 1 car seat so I started to research on booster chair at first I was scared of not having the 5 point harness but this booster chair had very good reviews... I did more research and was comfortable enough to talk it over with my daughter and showed her the picture and of course it being pretty hot pink she was all for it... It makes her feel like a try Big Girl!!!
Nice seat and easy to put together too January 31, 2010 Jeanine Hantke (Slinger, WI, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought this booster seat for our 3 1/2 year old. She's a girly girl, so the bright color was pretty exciting for her. Besides, the pattern will hide any future spills and misshaps until it gets in the wash again. The retracting cup holders are nice. I also like how adjustable the back is so the seat belt crosses the shoulder at just the right spot. Another review mentioned there's no latch system...but really is it necessary? If you go with a backless booster, they don't have it either. Anyway, we've had our seat for about a week and I just ordered a second for our other vehicle. So I guess that's the best testimonial you can get. The only drawback I can think of is the bottom pad could be a bit thicker (long trips can get uncomfortable) but than again an extra padded booster seat is pretty rare. We practically gave up that wish when looking for a booster for her older brother (3 years ago).
